Been to a good amount of hotpot's around The Bay, but this place just always hits the spot. They always play 90's and 00's R&B which is *chef's kiss

My son chose this spot for his birthday dinner. We all chose the AYCE version, and 2 of us the AYCD option, includes beer and sake. The quality and quantity both very good. Our waiter was a little harried, perhaps she was filling in for an absent employee, very pleasant and accomodating tho.

Came here for a family dinner (party of 9) on a Saturday night. We had made a reservation on yelp so we got seated right away. Big family gatherings are always kind of hectic, especially with difficult Asian parents- of mine, that is. That being said, Christy was kind, patient and just amazing. Sorry that my family was so much and thank you a million for not throwing a hot pot at us lol. You had a great smile and if the owner/manager is reading this- give that girl a raise! She was awesome!

I'm not really a hotpot fan but the meats were really fresh and the broths (we got miso & tonkotsu) were great. It was all you can eat and I also got a side of udon (gotta have my carbs), so yeah I was REALLY full at the end of the night.

Great experience, definitely recommend!

My party came in for a reservation at 7:30p and were seated right away. The food is always consistently delicious. They have sesame oil available upon request. Parking can be a bit hard to find.

I'm not able to finish the whole entree, so I share with one other person and order an additional meat plate. That way the vegetables don't go to waste.

The only downside is that for large parties, gratuity is included and for our case, we did not feel the service provided was worth the gratuity we paid. It was very difficult to flag down a server and our requests for napkins, extra broth, water and tea took ages to come out. We were never even checked on. Good thing their food is yummy...

shabu House has a great all you can eat hot pot option, I think it has a good amount of basic stuff, including udon noodles, cabbage, carrots, tofu, spinach, rice and a choice between three meat options. They give a few items to make a sauce. It was my first time having Japanese hot pot and I was impressed. They also had a good amount of soup bases to choose from. also the employees kept on checking on us and gave us a refill it as often as we asked.

I love this place. I've been here many times, with as little as two people to as many as 30 people. Every time, it's so good and satisfying. The customer service is great. The sauces are amazing. It's always a good vibe. I love that they give scoops of exotic ice creams like green tea, mango, lychee, red bean, etc. (what they have available varies). I've celebrated many things at Shabu House and I highly recommend this place to anyone. One thing I will point out is that it's getting a little more expensive as time passes, what isn't though?
